It is Intermediate level. Ni Hao 3 teaches students more advanced sentence structures and expands on the vocabulary and language to assist them with holding more in-depth conversations on relevant topics. This level introduces more than 500 words and phrases, and provides 151 characters to learn to write. The class will be taught by songs, role play, dialogues, group discussions, telling stories, CD, DVD, and films, etc.

Students learn in this lesson to talk about their school timetable, subject preference, preparation for exam and exam results.

Students in this lesson learn to introduce their school and to hold conversations commonly used in the classroom and school grounds.

Students in this lesson will learn to communicate on topics related to transport. And students will be able to talk about ways of transportation, distance, travel times as well as giving directions.
- Lesson 4 Leisure life 休闲生活
Students in this lesson will learn how to talk or write about their life outside
School, such as watching TV, going to the movies, music concerts or sporting matches. They can also express their opinions and show their preferences for various leisure activities.

Students win this lesson will review and reinforce the previous 4 lessons.
- Lesson 6 Each has its own merits 各有千秋
Students in this lesson will learn how to compare and comment on the physical differences of individuals. Students are also able to introduce themselves in a more advanced way by including details on their physical appearance, various interests and personalities.

Students in this lesson will learn how to talk about travel plans, discuss travel preparations and read travel itineraries.
- Lesson 8 I am sick 我病了
Students in this lesson will learn how to communicate on the topics of illness, including describing symptoms , taking leave from school, following medical instructions, describing recovery progress and showing concern for others.
- Lesson 9 A birthday Party 生日会
Students in this lesson will learn how to communicate about birthday celebrations. This includes giving and replying to invitations, buying and receiving gifts and attending parties. The lesson also includes topics such as special Chinese festival foods.

Students in this lesson will review and reinforce the previous lessons.
