Sampling and Normal Distribution in Google Classroom

Sampling and Normal Distribution

This lesson is meant to introduce to you the significance of "error bars." You may have noticed them on some graphs from the introductory MCQ questions. We will discuss this together on Wednesday.
.
Complete the packet distributed by the substitute INDIVIDUALLY or in PAIRS (MAXIMUM two people working on a single data set & packet).

The program uses a random number generator-it will be obvious if you copy from a peer/another group because you each should have your own unique data set. NO CREDIT will be given for duplicated packets.

I will give you 30 more minutes next class to finish this with my support.

The settings will allow you to self-score. You must complete the self-scoring in order to submit the assignment.

Water Potential Packet in Google Classroom

Water Potential Packet

If you are absent or need additional coaching on water potential problems, I highly recommend the linked video from Bozeman Science.

Packet Notes:
For problems on page 5, use 20 degrees Celsius for standard temperature instead of 0 degrees Celsius. Biological systems are rarely at 0 degrees.
On page 6, problems 9 and 10 are really just brain exercise. They are more challenging than what would be asked of you on an assessment. Hint: Assume volume changes result in a directly proportional pressure change.
The packet is initially due for completion. All problems must be attempted to receive access to the answer key.
