Who was the "designated survivor"?
What were the issues of focus for the President?
What actions did he propose to address these issues?
Be ready to discuss and share: What do you think is the most important issue our country is facing this year? Choose one topic from the State of the Union Address and consider possible solutions you might propose.

BONUS: Watch the Democratic response and take notes on who delivered the response and what was their actions proposed for the same issues the President addressed?
