The SPHS counseling department uses Naviance, a comprehensive K-12 college and career readiness platform that enables self-discovery, career exploration, academic planning, and college preparation for millions of students across all ages and around the globe. Naviance is a tool that helps counselors, parents, and students become actively engaged in making educational decisions. Increasing student awareness of their post-secondary options helps them to achieve at higher levels. Naviance allows each of our students to create a personalized plan that enables them make the right decisions throughout their academic journey. Each student can assess his/her learning styles, skills, and interests; research post-secondary and career opportunities; track the college application from start to finish, and learn about scholarships and financial aid.

Students and parents have individual Naviance Student accounts. Communication regarding guidance and planning information can be transmitted back and forth between students, parents, and counselors through Naviance Student. Please make sure we have the most up-to-date email account on Aeries to ensure the smooth delivery of Naviance services.

Note:

Student and parent(s) must use separate email addresses
Parents can view individual Naviance student accounts for each of their children attending SPHS
For parents needing a code to establish a parent Naviance account, please contact your child's assigned counselor
