AP/HONORS COURSE INFORMATION

Students considering taking an Advanced Placement (AP) level class must attend an AP Exploration Meeting to understand each course's full scope and expectations. Attending a meeting does not commit a student to enroll in an AP class. Conversely, AP classes can only be selected after attending the meetings and completing an AP/Honors contract. If you have a "C" grade in your current class, we offer support through the Skills Mastery form. When signed by a teacher and your parent/guardian, this form can help you identify areas for improvement and ensure you're ready for the challenges of an AP class. Students may pick up forms in the Counseling Center.

>> Counselors will collect completed forms during individual programming meetings <<

All forms are due to counselors by (2024-25 Dates TBC)

>> Students that were not able to attend an AP/Honors Exploration Meeting may visit the teacher who presented at the meeting (see schedule below) to receive course information.  Teachers should be available in their classroom before school, after school and during brunch/lunch. <<
