Dual Enrollment Students Visit PCC for Day of Exploration

On Thursday, May 28, a group of South Pasadena High School (SPHS) students enrolled in the Pasadena City College (PCC) Counseling 17 dual enrollment course visited PCC to learn about resources available to them as they plan for their futures and specifically, internships.

The students toured PCC’s Career Technical Education Division, including the Machine Shop and Fab Lab. To prepare for future internships, PCC took professional headshots of the students that they may use in LinkedIn profiles or other career-related materials. They also spent time learning about resources available to them in the Freeman Career Center, including career advisors, workshops, and events related to the job search process.

Thank you to our partners at PCC for this opportunity to explore and learn.

Go, Tigers!
