SPHS Graphic Design Students Immerse Themselves at Impressions Expo

On Friday, January 23, 19 SPHS Graphic Design and SkillsUSA students hopped aboard the Metro and headed to Long Beach, Calif. to participate in the Impressions Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center.

Students observed sublimation printers, dye-cut machines, and laser printers in action, and viewed a massive display of apparel at the country’s largest trade show for this industry. They interacted with professionals in the screen printing, embroidery, and digital garment printing sectors and learned a little more about marketing jobs on the trade show floor.

Admission for students and educators is complimentary for a day pass to the Expo. Thank you to their graphic design teacher and SkillsUSA advisor, Sandra Matson-Fennell, for organizing the experience.

Go, Tigers!
