SPHS Marching Band and Color Guard Earn Second Place at Competition

The South Pasadena High School (SPHS) Marching Band and Color Guard kicked off their season with an impressive performance, securing second place overall in the 1A division at their first Western Band Association competition. The competition was held at Vista Murrieta High School on October 18, 2025.

In addition to their overall placement, the groups also proudly earned the High Music Award, recognizing the highest-scoring musical performance of the day for their division. This strong start positions the students well as they look ahead to their final three competitions in November.

Thank you to the dedicated staff of coaches and specialists for their commitment to our musical students.

Go, Tigers!
