Social-Emotional Resources for Students

South Pasadena Unified School District (SPUSD) academic counselors, school administrators, and behavior intervention teachers are hard at work determining the best strategies for districtwide, social-emotional support for students. The group gathered on August 25, 2021 for the first of four counseling summits this year designed to provide the opportunity for communication, collaboration, and planning among the various site-level teams.

SPUSD academic counselors and site administrators are working in partnership with Train Your Brain counselors, a new Sage counselor, and a team from the Behavioral Health Division of Chinatown Service Center to provide expanded social emotional services for students and parent education opportunities. Information about how to access the new and expanded social-emotional services is explained in this flyer. Care Solace is an additional resource available 24/7 to help families and employees find mental health-related programs and counseling services.
