Congratulations to South Pasadena High School on being ranked as a 2021 Best High School in the United States.

The U.S. News Best High Schools rankings include data on nearly 24,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Nearly 18,000 schools were ranked on six factors based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college. SPHS was ranked #25 in the LA County Metro area and #58 in California and #434 nationally.

Principal Janet Anderson added, “South Pasadena High School is honored to be recognized as one of the best high schools in the country. Beyond the titles, we are so proud of serving all of our students well, helping produce measurable academic outcomes and offering a variety of options for students that allow them to find a place to grow during their time at SPHS. Critical to our mission is our staff and faculty whose support, encouragement, creative thinking, and passion create an environment where students learn and thrive.”
