Hi everyone! We've had a long spring break and it's beginning to wind down. Approximately right now is when I would recommend starting on that optional worksheet I gave you on the last day before school closed--we're close enough to the end now that it will be useful to jog your memory. Alternatively, if you haven't done A20 yet, it's due on Friday, April 10th. It will be due alongside A21 and A22, so getting it done before Distance Learning launches so it's out of the way is a smart idea.

When Distance Learning launches next Monday, we will be using Google Classroom. Please go to classroom.google.com and join my room with the code udog6pe so that you'll get updates as soon as they are available!

Lastly, it will also be helpful if you would sign up for a Zoom account using your district email (use Sign in with Google) and install the app/program. This is how I will be able to see you face-to-face and administrate weekly ticklers in the future!

Looking forward to reconnecting with you all!

Curved Conics Scores in Aeries

Hello everyone,

Your final scores for the conics test are in Aeries.

Mr. McGough and I decided not to curve the denominator since we felt it was a fair test, but we would have wanted to give you the chance to do test corrections. Unfortunately, that's impossible under the circumstances. So, I've updated everyone's score to simulate test corrections: 20% of the points you didn't earn were added to your score.

On an unrelated note, for those of you in AP classes, check out Mr. McGough's Google Classroom that I invited everyone to for an update on AP testing!

Whew. Sorry for the wait. Grading always takes me so much longer than I think it's going to.

Your raw scores are in Aeries. I don't know if they will be curved or not; I'm waiting for Mr. McGough to finish grading his, and then we'll decide together.

Class averages:
Period 1 85.1%
Period 2 78.7%
Period 4 79.5%

Hi everyone!

I've been taking a break, too, but I'll start grading your conics tests today. Goal is to have them in Aeries tomorrow afternoon!

For spring break, the amazing Mr. McGough has made an amazing Google Classroom with intellectually stimulating content that he updates amazingly every day! It has some great review materials but also some really interesting reading for those of you who like reading but are planning to spend spring break pretending math doesn't exist.

I will be posting exclusive content there today as well! If you want to join in the amazingness, go to classroom.google.com and use the join code fzqmgrk .

This is a BLANK copy of the applications packet for those of you in my fourth period who didn't get one.
