Current Event - Guiding Principle
Find a current (within the last week), national (meaning in the United States) political event.
You will read about the event and create one single Google Slide. The slide will have the following:
1. headline
2. news source and date of article
3. which Constitutional guiding principle is reflected in this story
4. an image
5. a discussion question to promote civil discourse re: your theme/topic
6. In the speaker notes, you should link the article AND have bullet points of the main ideas/elements of the current event -- remember context matters and you need to share the information about your event.
No generative AI may be used for the speaker notes context OR the slide. The entire point of this assignment is so we can start recognizing these principles in our current events and to prepare us for our CE Presentations this semester. Don't outsource your thinking.
