If you want to watch a great film on the death penalty, which will help you to understand both sides better and in a more personal way, you must bring in a signed note by your parent giving you permission to watch the film entitled, Dead Man Walking. The film is rated R for language and some violence- there is a violent scene that I will fast forward through

If I have not approved your final project, revise your letter and bring in a new copy

Make flashcards for any unknown literary terms on the front and back of the first page of the packet

Make Flashcards or quizlet for all of the Shakespearean words including the archaic expressions on the page in the packet entitled, Shakespearean Language. On the next page entitled, Shakespearean Language Practice, include the pronouns at the top in your flash cards 

Debate is today- be prepared with notes, articles, arguments- bring in paper to take notes and something to write on as the debate will be standing

 

Find one- or more- additional article that helps you to understand the situation better and come to a decision about your position on the topic. Print it out, read it, annotate it

Read through and annotate all articles in the packet- make notes on your t-chart as you read through them to prepare for the debate, which will be next Tuesday

Find one relevant and credible article on a question you have in helping you understand the situation better in preparation for the debate on the Palestinian and Israeli conflict

Print out the article, read and annotate it and bring it to class and be ready to share the info you learned
