Ok so here is the order for presentations for the final. 

** Keep in mind that this is subject to change, if any group wants to come in today or tomorrow and present early. If that happens, I will try to change it online, too.**

I'm posting this so that you can be READY to go AS SOON as it is your turn. However, you should prepare to be a fabulous audience, NOT discuss your own project with your partner. 

 

I also highly recommend meeting with your partner BEFORE you present to practice your presentation. You will have to keep your presentation under 8.5 minutes!

Here is an EOC study guide (created by another teacher).

It looks pretty complete... just be aware that it says that B cells mature in the thymus, but that is INCORRECT. B cells mature in bone marrow, and T cells mature in the thymus. (it's switched.)

First, read the intro and do your intro notes!

Next, print out the Student Resource Sheet. (if you can't, come to my room WEDNESDAY and I will print for you). 

 

Read the description of the race and complete steps 1-4 of the lesson. Use the SRS as a guide in terms of what you should research. Remember, for this part you are only responsible for the section you were assigned. If you have forgotten which part you were assigned, please come see me or email me!

 

DUE at the start of class on Thursday!!

Remember that if you have not presented and/or have not built your nerves on the maniken, you need to come in during 6th, 7th, after school, or at lunch and present or build your nerves ASAP!

Be ready to ask your 'client' about: exercise habits, stress levels, health history, concerns that they have. Look at 3.2.5 for a simplified idea of the project.

 

Also, please be ready to describe how a bite of food travels through your digestive system (from 3.2.2) I forgot to ask you last class! But you should be able to discuss what happens in each area of the digestive tract, including what enzymes are at work where and what is broken down where.

 

You will have a brief time in class to look over your notes before either of these things happens, but that time will go by fast, so please be as prepared as possible.

Obviously, you need to change almost all of this, but it can help you with formatting if you want to try linked/interactive ppt for bonus points.

-found images of the tissue types online and drawn them in your lab notebook. Make sure to use color, and do your very BEST work on this! And please, no tiny drawings.
