Astronomy Night for tonight has been CANCELLED!

Another Astronomy Night will be scheduled sometime in March

• Q.O.B.  If you had to go "wave free" for a day, what things would you not be able to do or what things would you not be able to use?
• Demonstrate a wave pulse down a spring stretched across the room.  Discuss spring as a medium, reflection of pulse, inversion of pulse, tension vs. speed of pulse, interference of two pulses.
• Identify the parts of a wave, including the amplitude, the nodes and antinodes, crests, peaks, troughs and know how to calculate the frequency or wavelength or velocity of the wave.
