Use your "first-kitchen" shopping list to either: (1) go to the grocery shop and find prices for the items you have chosen, OR (2) go on-line to research the prices of the items on your list. Be certain to carefully following the subtotal and total directions on the worksheet. Happy Halloween!! Boo!

VIDEO TAPING #1 of your personal introduction/video resumes. Be READY! Practice in a mirror. What you will you say? What will you wear? 

(1) Complete the Body Language Observation and chart. Remember to watch for everything - arms, legs, feet, hands, face (eyes, eyebrows, mouth), head position, torso, and so forth. What is the person doing? What is being communicated? Have fun! -and- (2) Complete the Obstacles to Listening self-reflection worksheet. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Collect your thoughts as to what you will include in your one minute video resume. Write it out as a commentary. Feel free to include "staging" (planned movement).

Finish the Sight Words List 2, Practice Worksheet 3 (crossword puzzle) handed out in class on 9/23. Make sure you bring it to class on Friday.

From Naviance, print-out the results of your personality questionnaire and of your career fquestionnaire. Your personality questionnaire should give you a detailed description of your personality type (four letters). The career questionnaire should give you a list of careers that match your interests and personality. If you do not know how to do this, make an appointment with your Guidance Counselor and ask them to help you. Remember, the printouts are DUE this FRIDAY, 09/04/2015. Have fun!
