All cultural experience reports are due on this day by 3:30 P.M.

Experience reports due.  Check for final confirmation of due date and time.

All I-Search papers are due by 3:30 P.M.!  Remember the no-excuse policy and the final processing notes. Printed copies only, no emails. 

All I-Search papers are due for "pre-grading" by 3:30 P.M.

"Best" close reading and Reduced Shakespeare Company notes are due from your company.  Please also be ready to "pitch" your Romeo and Juliet choices.

Your I-Search revision notes are due for a check in class.  (Absent students must send in their work.)  Check all instructions given and follow them precisely.  It's all or nothing for 40 points.

Poetry packets will be due at class time.  You will have about 80 minutes to work on these during class this week. 

The following is due to earn full points on our process check:  all note cards both research and process organized by your chosen organizational strategy, your twenty-second explanation of what your chosen strategy is and why, on-screen evidence that you have begun drafting Section II of the paper. Please be forward-thinking and "handle a problem before it sounds like an excuse".

Your research note cards are due for our writing organizational session.  THESE CARDS NEED TO BE PRINTED OUT!

Your second interviews are due for "replacement grades".  Please review your notes and instructions and be prepared to show fulfillment of all CORE requirements.

Focus paragraph print outs are due.  Benchmark testing will occur in class.

Proof of your first interview is due at class time.

Your final selection sheet is due at class time.  You must have obtained your approval no later than 10 minutes before the start of class.

To Kill a Mockingbird presentations will occur at the end of this week.

ALL visual presentations are due by midnight! You will not have this to show if we have not received it.  Please check your class information for the correct procedure and email address.  Remember to bring your presentation to class on a flash drive so that you can practice.

Have you completed your Cultural Experience Requirement?  The due date is fast approaching!

Do one of the next three questions.  Formatting rules apply.  You have a LIMIT of 2/3rds to 3/4ths of a page of text so make every word count.

Turn in your past writing with the new one.  Also turn in your CD work on Outliers and Twelve Angry Men.

Answer one of the first 3 questions on your To Kill a Mockingbird questions sheet.  Your response must have your name, period and date in the upper left corner.  It must be TYPED, 2/3s of a page long, double-spaced, with a 12-point font and one-inch margins.

Fill in body paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 of the "deconstructed essay" and provide your own ideas for body paragraph #4.  Do not do the conclusion at this time.

We will discuss the rhetorical devices in the Martin Luther King, Jr. and Macbeth passages.  Have your annotations and ideas ready to share.  We will look at how to gather excellent information for essay writing.

Finish Rhetorical Devices worksheet and be ready to share.

Finish the Figures of Speech sheet and be prepared to discuss your reasoning.

Have you turned in your multiple intelligences rankings?

Please bring your book so that you can do your summer reading task.  Did you complete your grading information packet?  Have you turned in your summer reading form?  Was your geese/quail comparison turned in?

Your summer reading or explanation form is due.  A print-out of an article on the subject of grades is also due.

Your interview with a former student is due.  Use the back of your "Geese and Quail" paper to record information.
