Assignment

1.  Finish Cell Size Lab (follow the rubric!)

** Organelle Book Due.  Make sure you follow the requirements.  If the link does not work, here are the requirements:

  • One page for each organelle (14 total) 
  • Colored drawings of the metaphor (must be hand-drawn) 
  • 3 Complete Sentences written in ink
    • Function of organelle
    • Why is it important for survival?  (Use the organelle malfunctions for this)
    • How does your metaphor drawing describe the function? 
  • Cover page with your name and a title (it should be neat and colorful) 
  • Table of contents written on inside of cover

Example:  The cell membrane regulates exchange of materials into and out of the cell.  Without the cell membrane, the cell would not receive monomers, water, and O2 to perform chemical reactions.  A security guard is like a cell membrane because he regulates who can enter a building.
