Get started on the Mentor Interview Highlights and Analysis Presentation. AI IS NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PORTION OF THIS PROJECT -INCLUDING BRAINSTORMING. DO NOT EVEN USE A TYPING APP TO TRANSCRIBE. THEY AREN'T ACCURATE ENOUGH TO BE HELPFUL AND COULD THROW OFF AI DETECTION. THE ONLY TRANSLATION TOOL ALLOWED IS A PHYSICAL BOOK. ALL STUDENTS MUST LIMIT THEIR AI USE TO THE SPELL CHECK FEATURE IN GOOGLE DOCS. IT IS ALSO CRUCIAL THAT YOU WORK INSIDE GOOGLE APPS TIED TO YOUR SCHOOL ACCT. SO I CAN BACKDRAFT IT IF I NEED TO DO SO. THESE SLIDES WILL ALSO BE SUBMITTED TO TURNITIN, WHICH CLAIMS TO BE ABLE TO DETECT PARAPHRASED AI HELP ALSO. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. IT IS EASIER FOR ME TO CHARGE YOU FOR NOT FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS THAN IT IS TO SPEND WEEKS INVESTIGATING POTENTIAL AI USAGE.
It is important to carefully READ ALL OF THE ATTACHED SLIDES FIRST.

On A20, make a list of 5 things you already know about the person's college/career journey. Below that, write 5 things you want to know about their journey. Now draft 15 open-ended questions. This may take two pages. Open-ended means your questions invite the person to respond with a story as opposed to a simple yes or no; avoid questions that start with do/did or is/was. How and why questions are much better. At home, show your questions to your parents. How well do they know this person? Can they answer some of your questions? If so, jot down their answers. This will help your final questions be better. Have you parents sign the bottom right corner to indicate that you talked to them about these questions.
Remember that the content of the interview is the person's school and job journey from 17/18 years old to the present moment. You may zero in on a specific age or attempt to cover decades, it's up to you. You may also ask up zero to five questions about yourself.

Due:
Make an attractive collage of many images of 3-4 symbols that represent you. These symbols should also appear on your life map. You must include some symbol that represents the future event on your map.
1. Completely COVER the canvas! Layer! Overlap! Accomplish this by decorating the side without the circle first. AND ONLY CUT the circle out once you are completely done with the collaging. I also recommend starting by completely covering the non-circle side with a background of colors you like. For the background, the images don't matter as they will likely by covered. However, something abstract may be best.
2. Work within the space. Your final product shouldn't go outside the circle. Again, cutting the circle when you are DONE COLLAGING will help.
3. Visually integrate the repeated images of your symbols in an interesting way. Your chosen symbols should be obvious to viewers.
4. Use at least one color in addition to black, gray, and white.
5. Make it three-dimensional.
6. Include a recent and recognizable picture of yourself.
7. Demonstrate effort and care.
This assignment is worth 50 points and is due at the beginning of class.
