Upload your Close-up reenactment here and enter in the appropriate link in the attached doc. Find your name, insert the link, and add a time stamp. There are samples to show you how to do it. We will watch yours alongside the original on Friday Dec 1st and vote for Best Actors! The winners will get donuts.

This is where you will submit your script (just like we did with Skeleton scenes) if you are not handing it in in person. Instructions are on the handout.

You need to be off-book on Sept 14th - when we will have a dress rehearsal for the performances
Children’s Theater tests your ability to be a committed actor. It is not about you, it is about them. If you succeed in making it about them, it will be a blast.

GRADING: 
You will be graded on commitment and preparedness. Both of those will be combined into an overall preparation grade for this assignment. There are only 4 or 5 preparation grades for the semester.  REMINDER: Preparation is 20% of your overall grade.

You may hand in in-person or scanned here. 
I need to print, so please don't just send a picture with bad lighting of the permission slip. Use NOTES app or similar to convert the picture into a document.

Find and submit here a 6-8 line solo piece that uses "elevated" language. This could mean a modern poem, a Greek monologue, a Shakespearean soliloquy, or something else. We want to move away from contemporary casual language. Write the actual text down here and tell me where it is from.

You will perform this memorized piece on Sept 8th (or the following week) and will perform it with SIZE: vocal size and stage "size".

Do the activity while having a feeling. Show us the feeling through breath, posture, or action, muscle tension, etc.
DON'T PERFORM FOR US. Just do the activity and have the feeling like a human would. Take your time.
