Instructions for studying for Final Exam:
1. Take exhaustive notes during presentations.
2. Access presentation slides on www.turnitin.com on the discussion board.
3. Study the red textbook. Review the preview and review sections before and after the poems. Review the questions for the poems. Pay particular attention to the following sections:



“Prepare to Read” section- read sections such as “Preview”, “Literary Analysis,” “Reading Strategy,” etc.
“Background” paragraph included right before poem(s)
“Review and Assess” Section at the end of Poet’s section.This section includes categories such as, “”Literary Analysis,”” Comparing Literary Works”, and “Reading Strategy.”
Margin questions such as the “Literary Analysis” questions,”Critical View,” questions, “Reading Check” questions and the “Reading Strategy” questions

Begin working on team Final Exam Study Guide review.
Working with your team, have one team member make a copy of the study guide and share with each team member.
Team shares one document.
Choose a color at the top and fill in your name.
Start with the first poem. Divide up the list of topics equally, and each team member fills in the answer with their individual color. Use the presentation slides, red textbook and your own notes to complete each poem box. Do not move to next poem until entire poem box is completed.
Repeat process for each poem box until end of period. Help each other. Only move to next box as a team.
When team is done, make individual copy and submit individually

Due after last presentation.

Go to www.turnitin.comSelect the analytical journal for the student behind you. Student at the last seat of a row? Select the analytical journal for the front person in your row. Fill out the rubric for their analytical journal.  Make sure the final score is written at the bottom.Snap a photo of the rubric and upload to Google Classroom.Turn in paper copy to Ms. Dorosin.When done, begin working on team Final Exam Study Guide review.

Please click on "Done" when your team's poetry presentation is complete.

Analytical Journals are due on Oct. 17. We want to make sure you get as many points as possible. Please post one of your entries for your analytical journals. JUST THE RESPONSE. Complete this before the last 20 minutes of class. Follow the guidelines attached to this assignment. Then, during the last 20 minutes in class:
Say hello to the person behind you in your row.
You will be editing their Analytical Journal response.
Last person in the row? You will be editing the person at the front of your row.
Find that person's Journal response and read through the entire response.
Use the list attached to let them know what they need to add or edit.
