5th period students-
I will be gone today. Here is the plan to complete. Thx. (3rd period I am here)
1. Students open PLTW and go to 1.2.3. You will begin on #5 to be sure it is completed in class.
2. Students gather materials. Specific directions are listed in PLTW 1.2.3. (See #9) You will NOT need the alcohol lamp or matches.
3. Students follow directions in #5-33.
4. Judith, TA for 5th period, will have completed this lab in 3rd period. They will be a wonderful resource if you have questions.
5. Once you have completed the lab portion and they have stored your plates upside down in the back incubator and wiped down the lab tables with ethanol (in the white bottles with red tape), you can then go back to the Introduction and complete #1-2.
6. The sub will either assign you to groups or have you chose your own. It is fine either way. Please listen to the sub for instructions.
7. Each person in the group will chose a different case and then they will share back to your group of three. This is different than the lesson. You will NOT share with the class on chart paper.
8. I will discuss the cases from #1 when I return.
Homework:
- Study for the quiz on 1.1 for Friday- Make sure the 1.1 notebook is complete for Friday
