During class today, complete and submit your first draft of your Researched Argument Essay, and begin working on the peer reviews. Do your best to provide helpful/thoughtful feedback that helps each student to produce excellent edits.

Please type in your thesis statement for your research paper. Remember, the thesis needs to be:
1. Arguable. (At least one demographic needs to disagree with your thesis)
2. Specific. (Specific enough for a 2000 word paper. Not so broad that the thesis can only be answered using a doctoral disertation.)
After you are done, find the thesis statements for your team members. Please evaluate if the thesis statements are specific and/or arguable. If they are, give them some positive feedback (ie. Compelling topic, important argument, etc.) If not, provide a suggestion (ie. thesis could offer a solution, thesis could identify causes for the problem, etc.) Finish with positive feedback.
