Description
A.P. Physics 1 is a laboratory based science course that counts for credit towards the high school science graduation requirement and well as credit towards the U.C. system science requirement.
 
It is a one year course that culminates with the A.P. Exam in May.  All A.P. Physics students in the class are expected to sign up for and take the A.P. Exam.
 
This course includes many laboratory investigations and laboratory activities.  Students are expected to have skill in Algebra and an understanding of basic trigonometry.
 
Students should be good note takers and a strong effort will help to ensure success in this class.
 
When students have questions on homework or any concepts, I hope they will come find me in my classroom and ask for help.
 
The course syllabus is listed to the right.
