Assignment
Here is an EOC study guide (created by another teacher).
It looks pretty complete... just be aware that it says that B cells mature in the thymus, but that is INCORRECT. B cells mature in bone marrow, and T cells mature in the thymus. (it's switched.)
Also, note that since PLTW switched around its EOC format, the #of MC varies and the %ages might be off.
Hope it's helpful!

As discussed in class, we will be doing parts of some lessons for HW. The only firm due dates for these sections at this point will be the days of quizzes/exams over these sections. (In other words, have the unit 4 sections done by the Unit 4 test!)
Here are the detailed instructions:
431:
Complete intro notes and all of part one, EXCEPT, where it asks you to make a heart box, just use the 431 worksheet I am attaching to this post. That worksheet also has an image of the heart, so you don't need to print the heart separately. We will complete the heart build in class (which is part 2), but you can do the CQ 1-3 when you complete part one.
432:
Intro notes and #1-4 only. Instead of making a model, just write in your lab journal 2-4 paragraphs about what you would say to your grandma to explain. CQ 1-3
441:
Intro notes and #1-6. As suggested in the curriculum, you can work in a group of up to 5 people. If you do, use a google doc to share your research AND to make your timeline. Make sure ALL partner names are on the google doc. CQ 1-4
511:
Intro notes and #1-10 EXCEPT don't make a model of the skin. Just a detailed, labeled drawing will be good enough. Also we do have pretty good slides of the skin in class so you can do that part online with images, or use our slides in class. CQ 1-3
513:
Intro notes and #2 only (we will do #1 in class). CQ 1-3
