12th Grade English (Period Per. 1) Assignments

1. Start work on your PowerPoint presentation for the Senior Research Project. It is due May 3.

2. Macbeth Act II Quotes and Questions are due April 23.

3. Continue your work on the Character and Theme sheets, including "The Divine Right of Kings".

4. Bring your book and the SRP packet.

1. The first draft of the Senior Research Project report is due in class on 3/14.

2. Bring your research materials and your copy of Beowulf to class on Tuesday and Thursday.

1. Complete the outline for Part III and/or Part IV of the SRP. Your outline must include a topic sentence, concrete detail and commentary. 

2. Notecards, timelines and job shadow rubrics should be turned in if they weren't on Wednesday.

3. Bring your copy of Beowulf and make sure you have read through page 51.

2. Continue to collect responses to your career survey. You must have at least ten responses by Monday.

1. Follow up on your senior research project surveys to make sure that the surveys are completed by the end of the week. Send out more surveys if necessary, but make sure I have first approved the survey.

2. Bring your copy of the Outliers. The "Trouble with Geniuses" assignment in Google Classroom is due by midnight on 11/27. If it is submitted after that time, the work will be considered late.

1. As soon as the final draft of your survey has been approved, send it out to the contacts on your list. The data from at least 10 completed surveys is due 12/3/18.

2. If you haven't already finished "The Trouble with Geniuses" in the Outliers, make sure to do so before class. Quiz? Also, your graphic organizers for these chapters is past due.

3. Bring your copy of the Outliers and the packet for the Senior Research Project.

5. If you haven't already submitted your Mini Memoir, it is late. Do so asap or speak to me about it.
