Find one credible and relevant article on an example of a country who has Democracy- and one for a country who has authoritarianism- use the school databases - instructions on how to access the databases is in the instructions. Print out and annotate- mark the text- underline important quotes and write out your thoughts in the margins

Look back at chapter 4 of 1984- watch the video clips in the links in the instructions here and write a paragraph comparing what we see happening in chapter 4 to things happening today and what this means for our society- include three pieces of evidence- at least one quote from the chapter showing the elements you are comparing and two from the video links- examples from video links will be paraphrased and the example from the book will be quoted. You may also use evidence from the video clip we say last time.
