THE October 14th PSAT is SOLD OUT
The PSAT will be offered to JUNIORS at South Pasadena High School on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Due to upcoming changes in the SAT program, there is only one PSAT/NMSQT test date nationwide this year.
The PSAT/NMSQT is intended primarily for juniors, especially those who want to be considered for National Merit Scholarship recognition.
The cost of the PSAT is $25. Students may register online through the ASB web store using a credit or debit card. (Here’s how: go to sphstigers.org. Click on the Associated Student Body tab, then click on the ASB web store tab)
After students have registered, they may pick-up their free PSAT practice test and info booklet from the student bank.
Juniors should report to the main gym by 7:15 AM on Wednesday, October 14. Testing will start around 7:30 AM. The test will be completed in time for students to go to their regularly scheduled lunch period. Test takers will be excused from their period 1 and 3 classes that day.
Test takers should bring a calculator and a few pencils for the test. Cell phones are not allowed during testing. PSAT results will be available in December.
Please contact test supervisor Mike Hogan at [email protected] if you have any questions.
The PSAT 10 for sophomores will be offered at the
high school in February or early March.
