Period 5 UC Animation Fundamentals

Course Description

The Animation Fundamentals course will train students in the basics of Art, Cartooning, 2D and 3D Animation, Computer Graphics Imaging (CGI) as well as the history of Art and Animation.
 
Students will develop a working knowledge of elements of art and how they relate to animation. Using color, texture, form and lights, students will learn to animate 3D images on a computer. With equipment, tools and techniques learned in the class, the students will film their animation by editing, adding sounds, voice and lights. This accumulates the completion of a 3D animation from storyboard to character creation, from designing the set to final filming of their animation project.
