AP Biology Final Presentation Guidelines

Logistics

  • Presentation Dates:
    • 1st, 3rd, 5th: May 29th
    • 1st, 3rd: May 31st
    • 5th: June 4th

  • 5 minutes of presenting per person. Minimum 1 slide per minute. Minimum 1 AP Topic Per Pair.
    • Individual: 5 mins, 5 slides, 1 bio topic
    • Partners: 10 mins, 10 slides, 1 bio topic
    • Group of Three: 15 minutes, 15 slides, 1 bio topic
    • Group of Four: 20 minutes, 20 slides, 2 bio topics

      • AP Topic Background Refresher
      • Connection to AP Topic
    • Reference Slides (MLA format)

*You may also want to include slides with any necessary instructions for your interactive component.

For this final project, you will be picking a human biology topic of your own interest and connecting it meaningfully to at least one AP Biology topic. Your final work with consist of a class-presentation. The only “write-up” will be your Powerpoint. You will need to do research and include a minimum of three  references.
