The competition titled “Reconnecting with ____,” selected outstanding student artwork from more than 1,600 submissions in 13 countries. The winning photographs were displayed as large-scale projections at the J. Paul Getty Museum from June 14 to October 23, 2022."

Discover photographs selected from a recent nationwide open call inviting teens to share what reconnecting looks like during the shifting challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Focused on the theme, Reconnecting with . . ., the selected photographs were creatively reinterpreted as posters by artists affiliated with Amplifier, a nonprofit design lab. Collectively, these works highlight the ways we can connect, bond, and nurture ourselves, our relationships, and our interests.
